One postdoctoral and two predoctoral positions

One (1) postdoctoral and two (2) pre-doctoral positions are available, funded by the

MARIE CURIE Initial Training Program “Integer”. The program focuses on studies

of chromatin structure and epigenetic modifications regulating cellular differentiation.

Candidates can apply for predoctoral training under the following research projects:

Position 1. Targeting the DNA methylation apparatus to the mouse genome.

Position 2. Transcriptional regulatory networks in erythroid cell differentiation.

(PI.: Dr John Strouboulis e-mail: strouboulis@fleming.gr);

and for a postdoctoral position for the following project:

Position 3. Analysis of transcription factors and their role in the generation of

the hepatic epigenome.

(PI.: Dr Iannis Talianidis e-mail: talianidis@fleming.gr)

Predoctoral positions are available for a period of 3 years. The postdoctoral positionis

available for a period of 2 years.

Marie Curie eligibility criteria:

- Candidates should be nationals of any country other than Greece and must

have less than 4 years (full time equivalent) research experience after

graduation.

- At the start of the fellowship, researchers may not have resided or carried out

their main activity (work, studies, etc) in Greece more than 12 months in the 3

years immediately prior to the appointment.

- Greek nationals may apply only if they hold dual citizenship and can provide

evidence that they have resided and carried out their main activity (work,

studies, etc) outside Greece for at least 5 years immediately prior to the

appointment.
