FW: PhD grants available, University of Minho, Portugal

The Department of Civil Engineering at University of Minho / Portugal wants to hire two PhD students, in the framework of externally funded R&D contracts. The work will be developed in the framework of structural engineering, namely with respect to innovative solutions for masonry structures, durability and reliability of structures, structural health monitoring or improved and innovative techniques for structural diagnosis.



We are looking for motivated individuals with sound knowledge of mechanics of materials and structures, able to develop individual work, capable of innovation, and strongly attracted to the field.
