Postdoctoral position
at the Institute of Biology, Department for Genetics & Molecular Neurobiology.

Our team uses state-of-the-art technology to investigate molecular and genetic mechanisms of memory formation and control of emotional behaviour (http://www.uni-magdeburg.de/bio/Abt_Molekulare_Nb.htm).

We are looking for a molecular biologist with interest is systemic neuroscience who will use viral-mediated gene transfer in cell culture and in vivo to address the cellular and behavioural function of particular gene products in the amygdala and hippocampus.

The position will be available for a period of 2 years as of Jan 1st 2009. Salary will be according to the Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L.
